Park Model Buying Guide

Park models, also called tiny homes, offer the most space and the most extensive facilities of any type of RV on the market. They’re great for vacationing in one spot for an extended period of time. If you’re interested in buying a park model and want to get the most out of your purchase, check out this guide from the experts at Jubilee R.V. Centre!

Complications from Size

Park models are the largest type of RV available on the market today. In fact, anything bigger than a park model is considered a building rather than a vehicle (think a mobile home). While park models have features that make them street-legal, like license plates and brake lights, they can only be moved by a specialized vehicle. Tiny homes are more mobile than mobile homes, but they are still meant to stay put for months or years at a time. When purchasing a park model, remember that you’ll likely need to rent a vehicle and hire a specially trained driver whenever you want to transport it.

Picking a Destination

Since tiny homes are so difficult to move, it’s usually best if you have a destination picked out ahead of time. Your typical park model doesn’t have holding tanks, making it extra important that whatever site you choose has hookups. On the plus side, many facilities offer discounts for long-term rentals.
